So Hi.
Let me introduce myself. I'm Erin and here's a little about my family...
I am a stay at home mom to three kids 4 & under. I have 2 boys, Zander (4) and Dax (2.5), and one little girl, Willow (9 months). Somehow, over the course of the last few years, I've become a "granola mom." New mom me would have definitely made fun of the now me for being so hippie dippie, but the more kids I have, the more this way of life makes sense for us. We're a cloth diapering, baby wearing (and stroller collecting), baby food making, sleep in you own room, coconut oil obsessed, gardening, composting, and DIY clan. We try to limit our footprint on the Earth by changing small things that make a big difference like making the most of our food and cloth bags at the grocery store. I'm a big fan of anything that makes raising these tiny humans (or life) easier, less stressful, and/or more enjoyable. That includes cool gadgets and gear, ways to save money, and little tips I've picked up.
Every household is a little different. What works for one might not work for the another because we're made up of a collection of dynamics. There are the crunchy / granola parents, silky parents, and those who fall somewhere in between. Confident parents who have it all together and those who feel like everything is falling apart. There are first timers and those who've got a small sports team at home. We've got SAHP and working parents (some who even balance school on top of that! Go you!). No matter who you are or what kind of parent you are, you have something to teach and things yet to be learned. That's what I want this blog to be. A place to learn from each other - a source of information, knowledge, and resources, a place to share the raw side of raising kids, and even more than that I want this to be a community with a safe space to share our stories and seek advice.
Let's build this together. Please follow and say hello :)
